The Maxrit

You may notice this as the same footage from my matchimation project. At the time I hadn’t fully thought about what I wanted in the background. I wanted something digital and cool. Something like The Matrix, but not just a total copy.
These are a couple look development shots that I think have a good future.


I’m currently in the process of replacing all the reflections in the windows with a matte painting placed on the other side of the street so that it reflects properly. I’m also going to place myself, along with others (depending on if I have time to shoot more plates) on 2d cards so that they can appear properly in the environment.

3D Matchimation

Both of these video’s were done for a class project.
The assignment was to track 3D movement by hand in Maya to match a CG object with live action.
In addition to adding the arrow. I did some basic plate cleanup. I removed the orange fence in the background, the footprints in the snow, removed the logo from the actor’s shirt and the tracking markers on his shoulder.

This was a short in-class project I did. The footage was given to us, and I used Shake to digitally make the actress look younger and more beautiful.

Stylized Fantasy
