3D Matchimation

Both of these video’s were done for a class project.
The assignment was to track 3D movement by hand in Maya to match a CG object with live action.
In addition to adding the arrow. I did some basic plate cleanup. I removed the orange fence in the background, the footprints in the snow, removed the logo from the actor’s shirt and the tracking markers on his shoulder.

I’m working on a class project stylized after the movie Mirrormask. This is a WIP shot of an entire sequence. I’ll post more about it under the Projects category as I near completion.
